This warming nourish bowl is ideal for Kapha, but also generally great for the colder, Kapha season. It aids in digestion, boosts immunity and helps to flush out toxins.

Adjust the quantities of ingredients, depending on how many servings you want to make, or your taste preferences.

  • 1 head of chopped cabbage
  • 1 whole chopped parsnip
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Optional:
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth


  1. Cook chopped parsnip. Boil for approx. 25 mins.
  2. Cook chopped cabbage. Boil for approx. 10 mins.
  3. Combine cabbage and parsnip on low heat.
  4. If desired, add in vegetable broth.
  5. Add coconut oil, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper.
  6. Mix and then leave to simmer for 5-10 mins.
